We're Moving
We are preparing to move to Nashville TN. Burnpile Restorations will continue, but with a new focus.
"It's all about saving Wooden Boats" remains our motto. We will not take on any boat restorations for the time being. The website will go with us and we will continue to provide help and information. Our efforts will concentrate on finding good homes for Wooden Boats. Our three boats are the first to be listed. If you have a boat to sell or donate please contact us. If you are looking for a boat or project we will be glad to post that information also at no charge You can contact us at crn007@att.net or use our "Give & Take Blog" page.

"It's all about saving Wooden Boats"
The 1953 Thompson Sea Skiff was indeed found under a snow pile in Hell, Michigan. and was destined to the burn pile come springtime 2002. See the restoration by clicking on "1953 Thompson Sea Skiff" page.
Our intention is to develop a site which provides hope and inspiration to those who have little or no wooden boat restoration experience. "Free" ( or reasonably priced) smaller boats in restorable condition are available and that's where we come in. We will publish suitable"Free" boats which can be completed in your garage or workshop at minimal cost. We hope to provide resources, tips, ideas, suggestions, etc. to make this more than just a rich man's hobby.
This web site is under developement and we look forward to your help, suggestions, content, or linking us to other sites. Your input will help determine the directon and success of this site. Please "bookmark" our site, Check us out from time to time and pass our site to others. We appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Chuck Nagy
