I had known Henry since the late 50's, and before he passed away a couple years ago he told me he wanted me to have this boat. About the same time another friend (Jim) also from a freind from the 50's, asked me to keep my eyes open for a good fishing boat. That's how easy it was. We had a great time restoring it and now its good for another 50 years. So if you have a boat or are looking for a boat project please contact me and we will try to get you hooked up.

Scrap lumber really helped dressed her up.

 

The cedar used for the sides is 3/4" x 15" 

 This is "old growth" lumber, wow ! What a pleasure to work with.

 

Captain Julius provided the muscle during the restoration. The boat now belongs to his brother Jim at Crooked Lake, Delton Mi.
