Welcome aboard to Give & Take. Have you a boat you want to save from the burnpile ? Would you be willing to "GIVE" it to someone to restore. Have you the urge to "TAKE" on a boat restoration project ? I hope you will use this site so we can find homes for boats and expand the hobby. Tell us what you got. Tell us what your looking for. Share your tips, ideas, tell us what kind of project your working on.
Thanks, Chuck Nagy

I imagine most of you are aware of this web site. Interesting and a great source for woodies and their parts. You have to join to get full access but you'll get an idea of the contents. Go to--www.boneyardboats.com 1/9/2015 12:39:41 am

Could use a hand with work on my 66' Pembroke Express cruiser. I live in the South Bend area with the work being done in Elkhart. I will pay what I can for your assistance. My disability income limits how much I can pay but my hands are deformed from arthritis so sometimes simple work is hard and I need help. Will check for any replys. Thank You 1/9/2015 12:42:08 am

I am out surfing and learning on many websites. thank you for having these set up. I was given a 65 Cruiser Lapstrake. I am restoring it, but it was even worse than burnpile for how wet and rotton she is. But I have replaced the ribs and now am working on the keel assembly.

Great to find your website. The Chris Craft "No Wake" has changed hands. I am the proud new owner. This great boat now has a home in Indiana and will be well cared for. I plan to use occasionally with my grandkids and will display to share it's proud history. Many thanks to those who saved and restored this little gem!

I like the Veterans Advocacy site. Have you done anything further with that? 1/9/2015 12:49:07 am

I have a 1958 19' Thompson that is leaking water in the stern about 2" in an hour my bilge pump keeps up, but i need some one to take it to fix the leak and or refinish bottom. Any Ideas? Thanks for your time, Marty

I'm restoring an 1959 17' Thompson and want to know how much motor it can support. Looking at at 90HP Yamaha (366 lbs.) I have replaced the transom.
